Happy Birthday Aoife

These are the two cards ive made for Aoife's 7th birthday from her two brothers. The top one was made using a Whipper Snapper stamp "Girl with Teddy". The stripey paper and letters are by Doodlebug. I used a Woodware punch for the tag and added some silver peel offs for the 7 Today. For the second one i used Changito Happy b-day stamp by Stampendous and papers from the Spring Stack. The ribbon is Doodlebug and the greetings are from Craftwork Cards.

RAC for Vicki May

I made this image wallet to accompany some images i sent to Vicki-http://juscoscards.blogspot.com/:

Vicki always leaves me lovely little comments on my blog and it was my way of saying thanks to her. I used Tilda with blanket and paper pieced her top and watercoloured the rest. I then used Doddlebug letters to spell out her name. I used the paisley Cuttlebug folder to emboss some pink Bazzill Bling cs. The only bad thing about it is she knew someting was coming as i had to ask her for her address which kind of spoiled her surprise.

JUST BECAUSE...

I made this card simply because i wanted to have another go at water colouring. I enjoyed paper piecing yesterday i think it looks really effective so i decided to throw a bit of this in too...

I have used Tilda with blanket as i used it yesterday for the first time and i really like her. The papers are from The Spring Stack and the paper frills are by Doddlebug have used stickles on her wings and blanket and popped three little gems in the corner for added bling.

Happy Fathers Day-again!!!

I've had this fella quite some time now after seeing him on Natalie's blog. He's called Handy Mouse by Great Impressions, i couldnt really think wat to do with him then i remembered the Doverafts Kids papers so i thought id give it a go:

The letters are Loopy Love by Doodlebug and again the greeting is from Craftwork Cards. I might give this one to my dad as he is a real handy man perfect for when you need some flooring put down and he also as a shed full of tools and gadgets.

Happy Fathers Day

I wanted an excuse to ink this little fella up. I love this Penny Black stamp Dressed Up and while looking through some blogs i came across a fab sketch by Katherina-http://katherina1704.blogspot.com/ so i decided to give it a go:

It didnt go exactly as the sketch (there is supposed to a circle behind the image) but its the best i could do. Inspired by the wonderful Natalie at Crafting Fun! i decided to have another go a paper piecing so his little tie would match.

IVE BEEN TAGGED BY VICKI

I have 8 questions to answer:

1. If a movie was being made of your life who would you like to be cast to play you? And why?

2. You have to spend a whole month on a desert island for charity and you have to choose your favourite celebrity to spend the first two weeks worth & your least favourite to spend the last two weeks with. Who would they be and why?

3. What are your three favourite crafting products?

4. If you could invent something to do anything what do you think it would be?

5. What are the last three books that you read?

6. QVC or Create & Craft?

7. Docrafts or Dovecraft or DCWV?

8. What is your claim to fame?

Here goes:

1. It would have to be Reese Witherspoon as I think she is pretty, blonde and sassy, everything i inspire to be!!!!!!!

2. The first two would be with Rod Stewart so he could serenade me every day and the last two weeks would be Mark from Holby City, he bugs the life out of me and i just want the chance to punch him.!!!!!!!

3. Double sided sticky tape, rubber stamps and Cuttlebug embossing folders.

4. It would have to be The Housework Buddy- it would iron clothes and put then away, wash the floors and make sandwiches- weird i know but hate doing it....

5. The last three books are Rosie by Alan Titchmarsh- it made me cry, Never Say Never by Melissa Hill and I'll Be Seeing You by Mary Higgins Clarke..

6. Ive never watched QVC and ive never heard of the other one so i'll have to say neither.

7. Dovecrafts because i think its good value and the masculine range is a life saver..

8. My claim to fame is when i was little kiddy about 6 or 7 i got choosen from a large crowd to switch on the Christmas lights with the lord mayor at our local shopping centre. I can still remember the newspaper heading: "Noleen's eyes light up as she brightens up Craigavon Shopping Centre"- ok so it didnt make me famous for long but i was sooooooo chuffed at the time.

Ok thats me done now ive to tag someone. Its Vicki Mayhttp://juscoscards.blogspot.com

Happy Birthday Maryella

My little star Aoife is going to her friends 7th birthday party on Sunday so i set about making a girly card...

Ive used a Whipper Snapper stamp Girl and Teddy. I cant remember the name of the paper i used i have searched online to try and find out but i cant see it. Ive had to use peel off letters on this card as i really wanted the name on it but Maryella is such a long name that i could'nt fit it on any other way. The little greeting is from Craftwork Cards and i used a Woodware tag punch and attached it with a brad. I finished it off with a little Prima flower. I hope she likes it...
